Charles Liu
Charles is a third-year FEMBA candidate at UCLA Anderson, serving as Co-President of the Greater China Business Association and Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Association. He holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. At Anderson, he has expanded his network to include over 6,400 MBA industry experts and investors.
A U.S. Army veteran, Charles brings strategic leadership and operational excellence honed over seven years at Amazon, where he trained hundreds of operations managers and scaled logistics operations from 10 to over 600 facilities. Growing up around small family business owners, he pursued entrepreneurial ventures in property management, e-commerce, brand strategy, and MBA-focused travel.
Inspired by Professor Kent Weaver’s Search Fund curriculum, Charles plans to practice Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) with Agame Search Fund, focusing on identifying high-quality businesses with $1.5M–$7.5M EBITDA for acquisition. He aims to target fragmented industries, implementing a roll-up M&A strategy while preserving and enhancing core company legacies through operational professionalization, AI-driven process integration, and the development of a strong platform for acquired companies, all to drive long-term value creation.

Jorge Rodriguez
Jorge Rodriguez is currently pursuing his MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, where he specializes in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship. With a strong passion for Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), Jorge is focused on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that create long-term value and support sustainable business growth.
Prior to business school, Jorge worked as a Portfolio Manager at the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, where he co-managed over $50 billion in fixed-income portfolios. He led investment strategies through shifting global conditions and developed data-driven tools to support decision-making. Earlier in his career, Jorge also gained experience in economic consulting, working on public-sector projects with real-world impact.
At Cornell Johnson, Jorge is actively involved in initiatives aligned with his career goals, including private equity and ETA-focused clubs, case competitions, and the Emerging Markets Institute Fellowship. He will also serve as a Teaching Assistant in Finance in the upcoming semester.
Jorge holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico and brings deep experience in managing complex financial portfolios.
Kangyung Moon
Kangyung Moon is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he is building expertise in private equity, operations, and entrepreneurship. With a strong passion for Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), Kangyung is dedicated to sourcing, evaluating, and operating businesses with the goal of driving sustainable value creation.
Prior to Booth, Kangyung worked as a Consultant at Kearney’s Tokyo office, where he supported clients across sectors including private equity, energy, and technology. He specialized in operational transformations and growth strategy, helping companies enhance their performance through data-driven insights and hands-on execution. His consulting background sharpened his analytical and leadership skills, preparing him for the challenges of business ownership.
At Chicago Booth, Kangyung is an active member of the ETA Club, the Private Equity Group and Technology Group. He also participates in the Sterling Partners Investment Thesis Challenge, working closely with peers and mentors to deepen his understanding of small business acquisition and leadership.
Kangyung holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo. During his undergraduate studies, he also completed an exchange program at the University of California, Davis, where he further broadened his international perspective.
Mahsa Javadi
Mahsa Javadi is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she focuses on strategy, finance, and entrepreneurship. Deeply passionate about Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), Mahsa is committed to identifying and growing mission-driven SMEs that form the backbone of the economy and create lasting value.
Before business school, Mahsa worked as an analyst at Navid, the largest social venture capital fund in the Middle East. There, she advised and supported early-stage startups in health tech, edtech, and sustainability—working closely with founders on everything from financial modeling to operational strategy to help them build scalable businesses and secure pre-seed and Series A funding.
At Michigan Ross, Mahsa is actively involved in the PE/VC Club and ETA Club. She recently contributed to a tech-focused consulting project through her MAP engagement with Amazon.
Mahsa holds a Bachelor’s in Law and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Tehran, which shape her cross-sector approach to investing and business.
Sagar Patil
Sagar Patil is an MBA candidate and Goizueta Merit Scholar at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School (GMAT 750). With a builder’s mindset and a deep commitment to Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), he is focused on acquiring founder‑led businesses and unlocking fresh growth through disciplined operations and pragmatic AI adoption.
Before business school, Sagar founded Activ24 Foods, scaling the venture across fifteen Indian states managing all the business functions, and engineering an in‑house distribution network that lowered delivery costs. He earlier steered $8M projects in operational turnarounds as Project Lead at Aarti Industries, driving Lean transformations that boosted plant efficiency by 25% percent. Earlier, he co‑founded SolFarm Agritech, commercializing a solar‑powered farming machine and achieving a 600% ROI on exit.
Today Sagar channels that same execution rigor into applied AI projects. He built OctaFit, a personalized wellness app, where he leveraged GitHub Copilot to accelerate debugging and feature roll‑outs. He partnered with a neurotech start‑up on vocally impaired, shaping the product roadmap, reimbursement strategy, and GTM for an AI‑powered device. He developed two GPT chatbots that answer complex supply chain and business strategy queries, standardizing best‑practice prompts for non‑technical users.
Sagar is working to develop Prism AI, a platform that guides companies in different industries how they can leverage AI in different scenerios. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and is certified as a PMP(Pursuing), Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and many others. Combining operational and supply chain discipline with hands‑on AI execution, Sagar believes data‑driven ownership can unlock uncommon growth for small businesses and the communities they serve.
Gian Guglielmelli
Gian Guglielmelli is an MBA candidate at the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School, where he focuses on strategy and operations. He brings six years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholders in complex, fast-moving environments across cybersecurity, public health, and humanitarian logistics.
Before business school, Gian served as an executive advisor and product lead in the Brazilian public sector. He led high-impact projects spanning cybersecurity governance and digital health, including managing a COVID telehealth platform that delivered over 60,000 AI-powered assessments and video consultations. His ability to connect technical teams with executive stakeholders helped drive regulatory compliance, operational scale, and data-driven strategy in high-stakes environments.
At Simon, Gian serves as VP of Finance & Operations for both the Simon Pride Alliance and Marketing Association. He is a Reaching Out MBA Fellow, George Eastman Circle Scholar, and Prospanica Scholar, and also a Teaching Assistant in Operations Management.
With Agame, Gian is excited to gain exposure to sourcing, due diligence, and operational strategy, contributing through hands-on leadership and disciplined execution while continuing to build the skills required to become an effective operator and future business owner.
Attin Kundra
Attin Kundra is currently pursuing his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he focuses on strategy, operations, and entrepreneurship. Deeply passionate about Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), Attin is committed to identifying businesses with strong potential for value creation and sustainable growth.
Prior to business school, Attin worked as a management consultant at EY, leading strategic operations and supply chain transformation projects for large manufacturing and automotive clients. He also gained hands-on experience in fintech startups, where he worked in product and strategy roles, helping scale high-growth businesses backed by top-tier venture capital firms.
At UCLA Anderson, Attin is the incoming President of the South Asian Business Association and an Easton Technology Fellow.
